Mogens Maltby
Mogens is a dedicated business coach with extensive experience in coaching at executive level. His coaching approach is predominately existential, by this he means that he builds his coaching around the client’s understanding of themselves, and others, and their relationships. His existential approach helps clients cope with reality and understand their own and others’ motivations and development opportunities with a focus that people have habits and preferences that have meaning in their life.
He believes that coaching is there to help individuals unleash their potential. Mogens works with business professionals, from executive to new leaders, who desire to invest in their own development and who appreciate an existential, and humanistic, yet challenging and result focused coaching approach.
Mogens has worked for more than 20 years with facilitation and development of specialists and leaders in KMPG, Danish Oil & Natural Gas, NNE (pharmaceutical engineering) and Novo Nordisk, where he was also Senior HR Business Partner to two EVPs. He is experienced in the practical realities of the business and leadership world. He has lived and worked in Kuwait, the Philippines, Colombia, Cameroun, Malaysia and has managed projects in numerous other countries as a finance manager, a Danida advisor and a management consultant (KPMG Denmark).
Mogens has designed and delivered OD and development programmes for thousands of leaders at all levels in Denmark and abroad. He is enthusiastic about helping professionals realise what really works and to see them become efficient and confident in their roles. Mogens is an executive coach with +1000 executive coaching sessions behind him and realises that empathy is the strongest leadership tool. He has a “can do” attitude, which ensures development results in action and performance.
In his development as a coach, Mogens has been through formal education and accreditation with a lot of practice (1000+ clients). Over the last ten years he has designed and delivered coach training to leaders and coaches. Mogens set up a professional network for business coaches in Denmark where they exchanged experiences and discussed methods and approaches as well as received external supervision. As an ACC accredited coach with the ICF he also has an MSc in Business Administration and Managerial Economics along with certifications with JTI, OPQ32, Hogan and SLII.
Mogens lives in Denmark with this wife and three children.
