Jenny Hoggarth
Jenny has been practising as an executive coach fulltime since 2000 and coaches executives and high potential leaders at all levels in local and global organisations in South Africa, sub Saharan Africa and Europe. Over the years, her coaching and strategy consulting has taken her into the boardrooms of many varied businesses, markets and industry segments.
She originally studied Computer Science and Psychology at Wits University, and later completed her Masters in Professional Development (Executive Coaching) through i-coach and the University of Middlesex, London. She has also completed numerous other coaching qualifications over the years and is regularly invited to supervise, lecture and mentor on coaching programmes. She loves learning and her most recent qualification was in Ontological Coaching in 2015 (Graduate Diploma of Ontological Coaching, Newfield Institute, Australia). She is also an internationally certified Gallup Strengths Coach.
Before starting her coaching business in 2000, Jenny held many executive positions and specialised in the start-up of new businesses for international companies. Jenny’s experience in, and understanding of IT, business and strategy, coupled with her understanding of human issues, has enabled her to coach, influence, guide and manage people with startling results. Over the years, she has won numerous coaching, sales and general business management awards both locally and internationally.
Jenny played a major role in establishing the local organisation to ensure the professional practice of business coaching in South Africa (COMENSA) and also believes in regular supervision. She has a supervisor and also supervises other coaches.
She currently coaches for 80% of her time. For the rest, she takes on executive assignments, invests in small businesses and works as a trustee for a large developmental trust. By maintaining an active involvement in business and investment she remains current and also empathetic to the challenges that her executive clients face.
